About 5 years into our marriage my husband experienced his first kidney stone, which, interestingly enough was diagnosed over the phone by Margo's father who was an MD.

Jump forward 16 years and so many kidney stones we lost count resulting in many trips to the urologist and subsequently outpatient lithotripsy at our local hospital. My husband's urologist suggested he try drinking the juice from a fresh squeezed lemon every day which he did for a year with no positive results.
